Who are we?
Marupo ACTS is a Michigan-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster appreciation for Asian culinary diversity and to support entrepreneurs serving underrepresented Asian cuisines. While Asian food is present in mainstream culinary spaces, many regional and minority Asian cuisines—such as those from specific provinces in China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and beyond—remain largely overlooked. We aim to change that by educating the public and creating opportunities for these lesser-known culinary traditions to be experienced and celebrated.

Lights after Dark
Join us for a night of celebration with food vendors, performances (dance performances, music performances and more) as well as hand-crafted trinkets for sale while supporting local AAPI businesses.
Dreams Come Chuu Maid Cafe
We are a Michigan-based maid cafe and idol group! We host maid cafe events at anime conventions and restaurant pop-up events. Our maid cafe's specialty is dance performance.
